Return & Refund

 

Past Modern aims to ensure its customers’ full satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item(s) for exchange, store credit or refund, based on your requirement and timeline. To return an item, the following conditions must be met:

  • For refund, the return request must be made within 2 days of delivery

  • For exchange or store credit, the return request must be made within 5 days of delivery

  • The returned item(s) must be unworn and complete. The product must be returned in perfect condition, unworn, in its entirety (boxes, accessories, covers, labels, booklets, etc.) and in its original packaging, accompanied by a copy of the receipt. We recommend you take all necessary precautions to ensure its protection. Any damaged, used, incomplete, incorrect or soiled product will not be eligible for refund, exchange or store credit. The right to judge the condition of the item(s) is solely at the discretion of the brand. We reserve the right to reject any requests for return if it does not match our required conditions, which are mentioned below.

  • THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN WORN, CLEANED OR TAMPERED WITH BY YOU.
  • THE BRAND TAGS, ORIGINAL PACKAGING MATERIAL, ACCOMPANYING ACCESSORIES ARE INTACT AND NOT ALTERED, DAMAGED OR DISCARDED BY YOU.
  • THE PRODUCT IS NOT ALTERED, UNLESS PROVEN VENDOR DEFECT.
  • RETURN IS BEING INITIATED AGAINST THE ORDER UNDER WHICH IT WAS BOUGHT AND THE PRODUCT MATCHES OUR RECORDS.
  • THERE IS NO FOUL ODOR, PERFUME, STAINS, DENTS, SCRATCHES, TEARS OR DAMAGE ON THE PRODUCT.
  • THE PRODUCT(S) IF BOUGHT AS A SET SHOULD BE EXCHANGED AS THE COMPLETE SET.
  • PRODUCTS RETURNED SHOULD BE IN UNUSED, UNDAMAGED, UNWASHED AND IN A SALEABLE CONDITION.
  • WE ARE SATISFIED THAT THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN RENDERED DEFECTIVE OR UNUSABLE.

To return item(s), use the Return page and enter all relevant details or send us a message at +91 9319214949. After this step, our sales associate will get in touch with you, schedule a pickup of the package within 3 business days of your return request, and share a return label that you will have to attach to the package for it to be returned back to us. In certain cases, a return label may not be required and the logistic partner will execute the pickup of the shipment. 

A flat fee of INR 200 will be deducted from all orders claiming refund, to arrange for pickup. 

Please note that we use third party partners for shipping and returns, and have minimal to no control over their operations. If a return package is received damaged, the said customer will be held responsible for it and the request for return will not be processed. 

Once item(s) are received and inspected, based on your timeline of return, you will be provided a refund, or exchange service or issued store credit. The quality check of your return will take place within 2-4 business days after we receive the product(s) at our office.

Please note:

  • Custom orders, made exclusively for clients, are not qualified for refund or exchange

  • Items purchased during seasonal sales cannot be returned or exchanged

  • Customers will not be refunded for return shipping costs. This will be deducted from the final invoice value. 

  • Store credit for the web-shop will be given for the price paid of item(s) purchased and will be valid for 30 days
